BREAKERS SWIM TEAM

The Grand Traverse Bay YMCA Breakers Swimmers, is a YMCA and USA Swimming club serving the Grand Traverse area.  With over 40 years history we are embarking on a journey with new leadership opportunities to learn and grow through the sport of competitive swimming.  It’s a great time to join us! 

New swimmers will need to be evaluated for placement.  Evaluations are done each fall for the team but a swimmer can join at any time thru the 11 month swim season.  

All try outs will take about 10 minutes for each swimmer.

You do NOT have to be a current YMCA member to try out.  Please have your swimmer bring a suit, a towel, cap/goggles are optional but recommended.  Open for boys & girls, AGES 6-18.
